Cold-Fusion Update - August 1, 2000

August 1, 2000 - SYS Technology today provided a brief update on its schedule for production release of AMD Athlon with Enhanced Cache (Thunderbird)-based SYS Cold-Fusion desktops and workstations.

Ed Leckliter, Senior VP, provided the update. "As most interested parties are aware, KryoTech, and in turn SYS Technology, have been delayed in going to production release on a T-Bird-based product. There is now some light at the end of the tunnel. Sys expects to be offering limited availability of 1.25GHz systems in August and volume production of 1.5GHz systems in October. Exact dates are still to be determined and final pricing has not been set. We will post additional information on our website (www.sys.com) as it becomes available."
