PC World's November 2000 issue, Sys nails the "Top 10 Power PCs" chart (again) as the SYS Performance 1000T posts, ".a 197 on PC WorldBench 2000 tests--the highest score we've seen for a Win 2000 Pro system." The performance of the AMD Athlon 1GHz-based system is not only "outstanding", the CURRENT web price is $596 LESS than the one in the review. Great reasons to buy NOW! [BTW, the article is in error as written in that they quote the CD-ROM portion of the DVD spec as if it was another drive. Nope, only the 16X DVD was in the system they reviewed. They also misidentified the model as a 1000A—meaning, in our lexicon, based on a Classic, Slot A Athlon. The review system used a Thunderbird, Socket A processor—our designation 'T'.]
